Two Great New Homes Capture the Autumn Hall Experience

Located side by side on Old Garden Road—and great on the inside—two brand new homes by Hardison Building Company have wonderful floor plans, articulated ceilings and all of the bells and whistles that you would expect from Autumn Hall. But, as much as we want people to buy our homes, the Autumn Hall Journal is going to get pretty monotonous if what we do is recite home specs or talk about appliances and master baths. For that, check the Autumn Hall website in the new homes section- click here-and click on Lot 17 and Lot 18. Better yet, call our sales team and come check them out in person. You can even stroll through during the Parade of Homes on April 25-26 and May 2-3 from noon until 5:00 pm.

Let’s talk about these homes, Cape Fear Heritage Architecture and our vision for outdoor living at Autumn Hall. The immediate visual impact is the porches—the perfect Old Wilmington touch. Not only deep, old world first floor porches but second floor porches that you will actually want to use. The great backyard garden court on the left-hand home is useful as is the conservation area of mature hardwoods and pines between the homes and the street. All in all, it’s awesome stuff but not the best part.

These two homes work even better in real life than the development team envisioned when we started to put it all down on paper two years ago. Step out the front door to the sidewalk, take a left and you’re at the junction of Chapel Park and Arbor Park. Tall trees line the streets, children love Chapel Park and Arbor Park speaks for itself. When you’re driving in, picture yourself at the end of a tough day out in the world, going through the main entrance and the azaleas, looping past Arbor Park and its live oaks and the big fireplace, maybe some people reading in the shade on the backside of the park, some children on the swing in the woods of Chapel Park, and then you drive past those great porches on your house before ducking into the alleyway. That is the best part.
